This three-night stay at Lion Sands River Lodge offers an exceptional safari in the heart of the Sabi Sand Reserve, where luxury meets wilderness. One night is spent in the Chalkley Treehouse or Kingston Treehouse, a private open-air sleepout surrounded by the sounds of the African bush. Day 01: Central Kruger
Arrival: Meet your guide at Skukuza Airport (SZK).
Transfer: Road transfer with game viewing opportunity en route to the lodge (approx. 30 mins).
Activity: Check-in at Lion Sands River Lodge.
Day 02: Treehouse Sleepout Experience
- Activity: Overnight excursion at either the Chalkley or Kingston Treehouse.
- Note: This is an additional experience; your room at the lodge remains available. You will pack a small essentials bag for the night.
- Experience: Sprawling views, star-lit skies, and the sounds of the African bush below.
Day 01-04: General Safari Activities
- The area is known for extraordinary biodiversity and high concentrations of wildlife, particularly rewarding for predator sightings (lion, leopard, cheetah).
- Activities include:
- Game Drives (private concessions allow off-road driving).
- Guided Walks for intimate wildlife encounters.
- Night Drives to spot secretive nocturnal creatures.
- Birding (rich landscape for keen birders).
Day 04: Kruger Departure
- Departure: Road transfer with your guide from Lion Sands River Lodge back to Skukuza Airport (SZK) (approx. 30 mins). Game viewing opportunity en route.
- Optional: Invitation to consider “One-Hit Wonders” add-ons, such as 4-days in Cape Town or 4 days at Vic Falls & Chobe.
