Day 01: Maun to Leroo La Tau
Arrive at Maun Airport (MUB), transfer via road to Leroo La Tau lodge on the Boteti River (Makgadikgadi Pans National Park boundary). Enjoy a short sundowner game drive.
Day 02-04: Passarge Valley
Drive to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) via Matswere Gate. Spend three nights in a Letaka mobile camp in the remote Passarge Valley.
Wildlife Focus: Excellent chance to see the black-maned Kalahari lions, African wild dog (endangered), eland, and large giraffe herds.
Day 05: Passarge Valley to Deception Valley
Scenic drive across vegetated dune-fields, Leopard and San Pans, transferring the mobile camp to the magnificent Deception Valley area of the CKGR.
Day 06-08: Deception Valley Exploration Days
Three nights exploring Deception Valley, the course of an ancient river.
- Wildlife Focus: Excellent location for Kalahari predators (cheetah, resident lion pride, leopard, brown hyena), large herds of springbok, gemsbok (oryx), and blue wildebeest.
Day 09: Deception Valley to Maun
Final morning game drive in the Kalahari, transfer to Haina Kalahari Airstrip, and board a charter flight to Maun for onward connections to Johannesburg or Cape Town.
